The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Woodrow Wilson. All opinions are 100% mine.

A fellowship is an opportunity that allows a professional to pursue prospects outside of the normal realm. You don't even have to be a teacher to get a teaching fellowship. A teaching fellow has knowledge in their current career, but they have no teaching experience. The fellowship not only benefits them but their students as well.

The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship seeks to recruit, prepare and retain effective teachers for the students and schools who need them most. The fellowship includes a $30,000 stipend to complete an intensive master’s degree program at one of fourteen participating universities. Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship is now accepting applicants who are interested to pursue a master’s degree in teacher education. If you are a current undergraduate, recent college graduate, mid career professional or retirees who have majored in STEM (science, technology, engineering or math) then you are qualified to be in their teaching fellowship program.

The teaching professional must be an US citizen, should be a degree holder by 2011.Teaching professionals must have a stem field background. The technical teachers need to succeed in high end schools with significant teaching experience. The teachers will be assisted with the placement and onsite opportunities. Student success, satisfaction and involvement in concepts is the prime motto. For more guidance feel free to visit www.wwteachingfellowship.org and watch the teaching fellowship programs carefully.
