My wife and I tried ShortykSmalls restaurant for the first time on our recent vacation to Branson Mo. We have driven by there many times but have never stopped. We wanted to try something different this time. We called ahead for seating so there was no wait time for us to be seated during the dinner service, but from the looks of it there would have been with out preplanning. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. All of the wait staff in sections around us was also friendly, smiling and having a good time. When the food came it was absolutely the best BBQ ribs we had ever had.
Branson is actually an extremely popular vacation destination with numerous entertainment, shopping, food and outdoor attractions. In addition, the city is home to two Hilton Hotels including the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. My wife and I stayed here in Sept. of 09 and greatly enjoyed. The rooms where clean, spacious and we had everything we needed. They were modernly decorated and our room had a separate room with a huge hot tub in it. I loved the new zero entry pool and our kids loved the pool with water-slide. I would highly recommend for anyone.
Branson has ongoing events for everyone’s entertainment like the Moonlight Bide Ride, Southern Gospel Picnic, Shepherd of the Hills Fall Harvest Festival, tons of concerts on the exciting Branson Landing, plus much much more!
If you're thinking Branson wouldn't make an exciting destination, well, no dice. Branson is nestled Ozark Mountains so you get both the benefit of the spectacular natural views and the bright lights of the Strip (Branson is home to 49 live entertainment theaters and is considered "the entertainment capital of the Midwest").
