3 Easy Ways to Retrieve Deleted Pictures From Your Apple Device

You may end up accidentally deleting photographs while using the iPhone or iPad. At times you face a situation where your picture or entire albums get wiped off from your device. The only option left is to go back to iTunes for that backup hoping that you might be able to retrieve some pictures from there.

But there are chances that these photographs are gone and retrieving them is not possible. There might however be a few ones left on the camera roll. It is not easy to recover your deleted pictures from your Apple device. There are various methods that you can apply for photo retrieval.

Let us know about 3 easy methods to retrieve pictures from your Apple device.

(1) Recovering photos using iTunes for iPad and iPhone:
• First you need to connect your device to your system
• Launch the application of iTunes 11
• Go to the 'View' section to reveal the Sidebar
• Now your device is visible on the system screen
• Right click on your device and go to 'Restore from' backup option for recovering your deleted pictures
• You will see the list of backup, choose the recent backup and the backup process will get started.

As soon as the process of recovery is finished you will see that the missing pictures are restored to your Camera Roll. However, you need to keep the following things in mind:

• If you have clicked more pictures after the recent backup and then your pictures have got deleted then chances are that these have been permanently deleted.
• Other things including contacts and mails too will be restored to the latest stored version during the backup process. It is a good practice that you take a backup of your entire data before recovering your pictures from iTunes 11.

(2) Using the utility of Photo Stream / iCloud for picture recovery:
• Photo Stream is the best option for storing and sharing your pictures safely. If you have not already enabled this service in iCloud then: Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream> Switch 'My Photo Stream' ON
• Go to the photos app
• Go to 'Menu' located at the bottom
• Choose 'Photo Stream'
• Go to 'My Photo Stream Album'> 'Recover Deleted Photos'

(3) Third-party Software: This can be used when all the above mentioned steps have failed to recover your deleted photos.
• Turn on the DFU mode on your iPhone and connect it to your system
• Go to the File system
• Use the third-party software for recovering your pictures by launching the software. This software is effective because often deleted files are hidden in other folders. Third-party software like Wondershare, Dr.Fone and Stellar Phone Recovery are useful in locating them.

Applying the above mentioned methods will help you in retrieving deleted pictures from your Apple device.
